Who Are All the Dragons in House of the Dragon Season 3?
The Dance of the Dragons introduces a multitude of dragons, as the war between the Greens and the Blacks relies heavily on their firepower. As of season 3, there are 15 dragons in the series: Syrax, Caraxes, Vhagar, Seasmoke, Vermax, Arrax, Moondancer, Dreamfyre, Silverwing, Tessarion, Sheepstealer, and Vermithor. In addition, Tyraxes and two wild dragons have been mentioned. Some have died — Arrax, Vermax, Meleys, and Sunfyre — and there are now four dragon eggs that may play a crucial role in future events.

Syrax

- Rider: Rhaenyra Targaryen
- Notable moments: Syrax has not yet seen battle but has been pivotal in key moments, such as carrying Rhaenyra to confront Addam of Hull, locating Lucerys's body, and flying to Dragonstone to challenge Daemon in season 1.
Caraxes

- Rider: Daemon Targaryen
